My campus ministry nightmare!

The following is an acutal nightmare that I had a few years ago about our campus ministry:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------->

We have a few more weeks in the semester. We have planned, but not prepared well. We have nothing confirmed for the next meeting or the big outreach meeting in a few weeks. I call a meeting of student leaders along with our faculty advisor. I announce that the next week have planned to feature Augusta State atheletes teamed up with their moms to form two-person teams which will compete against each other in trivia questions and game show type challenges. With one week to go, we have no athlete contestants lined up and no moms! The athletes should be kind of easy to get, but their moms? While it was a cute idea, getting their moms to our meeting is throwing a curveball in our preparations.

Worse yet, for the big outreach in a few weeks we have promised people elephant rides. Literally, rides on the backs of elephants. Why this sounded like a good idea at the semester planning meeting escapes me, but that is what we planned. I was supposed to arrange to get the time with the elephants donated. Now, I have two weeks to get commitments on these elephants! Oh my God! Where am I supposed to find elephants? But, hey isn't the circus coming to town? If I can just contact Ringling Bros....
